Introducing the newest member of the team: Sharon Britton!

Sharon recently joined our team as Head of Projects, reporting to the company director Stephen Hall. Her role includes leading the PM team to deliver quality outcomes for our customers and looking at ways we can improve our delivery to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Sharon has a degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University and has more than 25 years of experience working in IT for organisations such as IBM, Logica, Cognizant and more. She has led multiple global teams and projects and has worked with many different organisations in the public sector. Due to her past experience and knowledge, we’re certain Sharon is the perfect addition to our company!

Get to know Sharon…

We decided to do a short informal interview with Sharon so you can get to know her a little better!

What do you plan to achieve in the company?

The main thing I want to achieve is to build on the experience we have had through a period of growth and support the team, as we grow and mature our processes.

What do you love most about your career?

The diversity of cultures that I have engaged with. The variety of industries and projects that I have worked on. Most of my role has involved clients or companies that I’ve worked with going through significant transformational change, and it’s great to see that happen.

What is your favourite thing to do?

I love to go to the theatre and also travelling - both of which we can’t do at the moment.

If you could share a meal with any 4 people, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Right now, it would be my family. My mum who has passed, my daughter who is working away and my two sisters, because we are not able to do it and I miss them.

Favourite cuisine?

Moroccan has become a favourite since that was the last place I travelled to. All my food has Moroccan spices now.

Favourite country?

I don’t think I have a favourite country. I love so many different countries for so many different reasons. But if I had to choose a top 3, it would be Croatia, Italy and France as I love to go on holiday there.

Favourite sport?

I wouldn’t say I am sporty but there are a few sports I enjoy. I like a game of tennis or badminton for exercise and am also learning to play golf. I am more of a dancer though and love to go on dancing holidays.

Favourite animal?

It will have to be a dog.

Sharon will be based working from home for the foreseeable future. We’re excited for her to share her industry experience and add even more value to the company and our clients!
