We’ve been so busy with launches that we’ve forgotten to talk about any of the launches. NASA are quaking in their moon boots knowing that Active Housing have out-launched them in 2022 Q4.

Over the past two months, while working to launch a new solution of our own, we’ve been launching plenty of our award-winning solutions for clients. In true launch fashion, below are short summaries of some of our recent launches:

5

On 10th October we launched a new multi-branded customer portal for Sovini, social housing conglomerate consisting of One Vision Housing and Pine Court Housing Association.

Sovini approached us, as an existing supplier of their repair diagnostic solution, with the requirement to replace their existing portal before the pending expiry of their payment provider. Through our agile delivery methodology, we were able to replace their current portal functionality using Active Portal in under 12 weeks with an added bonus of a number of quick wins. A fantastic project that has already resulted in 32% of households being registered.

On 31st October we launched a new ‘group’ customer portal for Abri. Abri was formed in 202x through a merger between Radian and Yarlington Housing Group.

As the existing supplier of Radian’s and Yarlington Housing Group’s customer portals, we were delighted when Abri approached us to implement the new group portal using our Active Portal and Active Diagnostics products.

With already 35,000 registered users and based on Radian’s and Yarlington’s track record of being a sector leader in digital self-service, including a Digital Landlord of the Year award, we foresee a very exciting future for the new group portal.

On 7th November we launched an online onboarding and applications system for Southern Housing Group (SHG), which seamlessly formed part of their current customer portal, which was an existing Active Housing solution.

SHG have been a client of Active Housing since 2019, and in the past few months they wanted to digitise the onboarding and applications process for their customers. We had been planning to develop a new version of our Active Onboarding product, so we decided to work together with SHG to build the new product! There’ll be more to come on this down the line.

Despite SHG going through a merger impacting some of our other live solutions, the new solution was delivered in a couple of months. This new online process is estimated to save staff members 1 hour per an application.

On 15th November we launched a repairs diagnostics solution for Derby Homes. This project was awarded to us after an intensive multi-phase procurement process by Derby.

Derby Homes had an existing customer portal, Open Access, through their HMS provider, Capita. However, Derby Homes required a self-service repair diagnostics solution to enhance the portal’s functionality. Fortunately, we were on hand with our award-winning tool, Active Diagnostics. We were able to deliver an embedded open-access portal with a seamless user experience for residents, while remaining fully integrated with Capita Open Housing.

With the project only live a matter of days, it will be exciting to sit back and watch the uptake.

On 16th November, we launched a self-appointing repairs diagnostics solution for South Cambs District Council, which was indirectly procured by their contractor Mears.

We have previously worked with Mears both directly and indirectly on several projects with social landlords to deliver resident self-service repairs reporting functionality. This includes projects with Milton Keynes Council, Livin and Golding Homes. Mears wanted an independent solution that was not dependent on other providers, and the decision was made to reuse the approach of using our Address Selector module (in conjunction with Active Diagnostics). Mears required the solution to be live in only a matter of months and the Active Housing team made it happen!

Similar to Derby, with the project only live a matter of days, it will be exciting to see the uptake going into the new year.

We have lift off!

We really needed a longer countdown because we also had significant updates or new product launches for a number of other clients including a native app for Stonewater and a bespoke onboarding update for Grand Union.

In the new year we have some exciting launches scheduled, including multiple Active Portal Native App launches, several repairs’ diagnostics projects with social landlords and contractors, and a customer portal using Active Portal for a large landlord in the midlands. It will be a busy 2023 for the team, maybe with enough launches to even rival SpaceX.
